We will also be playing for a United Way Event at the Lucas County Arena on March 18.  More information will be available soon. Please sign up on the band room door if you are planning to attend.

 

OMEA Large Group Adjudicated Event

 

Large Group AE will be held on March 12 at Sylvania Southview High School.  Performance times are 5:00pm for the Concert Band and 8:20pm for the Symphonic Band.  Both performances are open to the public and will occur in the auditorium at Southview.

3:15pm Load Buses at AWHS

3:30pm Depart for Southview

4:00pm Arrive at Southview

4:30pm Concert Band to Warm-up

Symphonic Band to Auditorium to Watch Perrysburg

5:00pm Concert Band Performs

5:30pm Concert Band goes to Sight Reading

6:00pm Dinner/Wait for Rating – Students will need money for concessions at Southview

7:30pm Symphonic Band to Sight Reading

8:20pm Symphonic Band Performs

Monclova Senior Luncheon Social

Event Details: 
On Tuesday, March 16th, a part of our 6th grade band will travel to the Moncolva Community Center and perform for the Monclova Senior Luncheon Social. Our students will perform while the seniors dine and then our students will enjoy their lunch. Our band has always been well received at this event.

2010 Majorette Tryouts, Mandatory Clinics, & Informational Meeting

There will be an informational meeting for those currently in Grades 8-11 interested in trying out for the 2010/2011 High School Majorettes.  The meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 16th from 6-6:30pm on the upper deck of the main gym at the High School.  Requirements and other valuable information will be discussed at this meeting and anyone interested is highly encouraged to attend.  

Mandatory Clinics will be held on the upper deck from 6:30-7:30pm on the following dates:

March 23rd
April 6th
April 20th
April 29th

Tryouts are tentatively scheduled for:
May 4th at 5pm

2010 Majorette Tryouts

Tentatively, the Majorette Tryouts for the 2010/2011 school year are May 4th at 5pm.  Tryouts will be held at the High School in the main gym. 

2010 Mandatory Majorette Clinic #4

Majorette Meeting

There will be a meeting on March 16th at 6-6:30pm for individuals currently in Grades 8-11 who are interested in trying out for Majorette for the 2010/2011 school year.  The meeting will be held at the High School in the upper gym.  Information regarding the requirements for majorette and other information will be available at this meeting. 

2010 Mini Majorette Camp

The 2010 Mini Majorette Camp will be scheduled at the beginnnig of the 2010/2011 school year.  Once the camp dates have been set, a flyer will be distributed to all the Primary Schools, as well as Fallen Timbers.  The dates will also be published on this site.  The camp is open to Grades K-6.  The cost for the camp is $25.  

2010 Show Me What You Know Clinics

2010 Show Me What You Know Clinics will be held at the High School on the upper deck of the main gym.  The cost is $3.00 per clinic and will be held on the following dates from 6:30-7:30pm.  The clinics are open to Grades K-6.  Please bring a baton.
