Barnes & Noble Bookfair (Nov 27-28)

Anthony Wayne Band Boosters are sponsoring a bookfair fundraiser through Barnes and Noble in the Fallen Timbers Mall on Friday, November 27th and Saturday, November 28th. A percentage of any purchase made using the attached voucher will go to the Marching Generals. The higher the total sales, the higher the percentage, and the more money we make! Our goal is to beat last year's bookfair and go for $10,000 in sales this year. Please help by distributing the attached voucher to all your family, friends, and co-workers and come buy a book or two! Purchases must be made on Friday, November 27th or Saturday, November 28th and the voucher must be presented at the time of purchase.

We are also wrapping purchases for anyone at the store during the bookfair. There is no charge to wrap, but we do get to keep any tips or donations given to us. Barnes and Noble will supply all of the wrapping materials, we just need YOU to help wrap. Shifts will be determined after we know how many folks are able to wrap, but will most likely be in 2 - 3 hour blocks of time. Please let Marie Archer know if you can give a few hours either day to come have fun and help the band with the fundraiser. E-mail Marie at march4@roadrunner.com or call 419-877-5043 (home) or 419-973-2948 (cell). Remember, books make great Christmas gifts!

FanClub Card

Dear Marching Generals Supporters:

Thank you to all who have purchased a FanClubCard in support of our organization! Unfortunately we are still short of our goal. If you have not yet purchased your card please consider this, for less than the cost of one dinner out you can help our organization and get fantastic deals at hundreds of local businesses. The savings can add up to hundreds of dollars for an average family. When was the last time you got an oil change for $9.95 or $37 off a service call from a plumber or heating and cooling company? In this tough economy we found a program that actually gives back to you while benefiting our cause. It's a Win-Win for everyone!

When you purchase a membership to the FanClubCard.com website $10 of each $37 membership fee comes directly to support Marching Generals this year and every year the card is renewed! Click on the following links to preview just a few of the more than 180 local businesses and the great deals they are offering only to FanClubCard.com members. You will find everything you need from Attorneys to Veterinarians, such as Ice Cream, Golf, Pizza, Restaurants, Car Washes, Oil Changes & Auto Repair, Plumbers, Fun Things To Do! and so much more. The list gets bigger as new businesses are added every month, making your card more valuable! You will even receive email alerts when new businesses and great new offers are added. The best part is you can use your FanClubCard over and over. There are never any limits!

We encourage you to purchase 1 or 2 memberships for your household then ask your friends, family and co-workers to join so they can get the great deals too! This will help the Marching Generals meet our goal of 500 memberships before October 30th! That will raise an incredible $5,000 for our organization! Please forward to all of your email contact to help us meet our goal!

I personally endorse this exciting program and truly feel FanClubCard.com is a great opportunity for you to save money and for our Marching Generals to raise money. Please help us reach our goal! It's so EASY to do and remember you will get great savings on things you and your family really need.

Thank you for your support!

FanClub Card booth volunteers needed

Volunteers are needed to assist with the Fan Club Card booth at Roche de Boeuf on September 26th (9am to 4pm) in Waterville.  The Fan Club Card booth (corner of Farnsworth and Second St. at Smedlap Smithy's) is going to be right next to the Band Booster wear booth for convenience of students and parents taking shifts together.  Especially needed are our parents that have enjoyed using their Fan Club Card as they can give the best testimony and further our sales in face-to-face conversations.  Anyone interested in volunteering can contact me at gpschaffer@earthlink.net.
